The Montfort Family 1624: A Narrative
The Montfort family came to Nieuw Amsterdam in 1624 aboard the first ship of settlers from Holland and the Dutch West Indies Company. This is the journey of the MONTFORT/MONFOORT family from Holland to the New World, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and to Kentucky with the Low Dutch Colony and membership in the Shakers of Kentucky.
