The Ilkeston and District Local History Society
As well as material relating to the history of the town, the website contains a number of pages of interest to the family historian, including three portrait galleries of some of Ilkeston's past great and good and information on the availability of the transcripts of the Parish Registers of St.Mary's church which date from 1588.
