Philip Hatch was the founder of one of the oldest families in Maine. Although he settled in the town of York, the next few generations of his family moved quickly to Wells and Kennebunk. Most of the early families stayed in Maine until about 1880 when several migrated to Massachusetts. This book took an enormous amount of research over the last several years. Over 7,400 individuals are indexed in 600+ pages. Some of the families other than Hatch include: Eaton, Getchell, Gooch, Hilton, Littlefield, Perkins.
