I recently started a blog with certain friends of mine in mind. They love learning more about their ancestors and find the past fascinating and exciting. However, they have no practical knowledge on how to do genealogy. I wanted to do something that appealed to that demographic of young, visually driven young women. I am researching the surnames: McCASKIE, McARTHUR, and WILSON from Scotland and BALL and MOODY in the United States, and DINKLE from Germany.

Eugenelogia is a blog about genealogy and the study of family history written in Spanish language. The word eugenealogia is an anagram of my name and my favorite hobby. Also because of the root eu- (meaning good in Greek) it could be something like the good genealogy. I believe that there is a eugenealogy that tries to better know those who preceded us, to know where do we come from, and not only just collecting data such as surnames and dates. Genealogy can be described in many ways. For me it is the way to develop my appetite as a seeker.
