Includes any area covered by the East India Company or was ruled by the India Department: the Republic of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Persia and the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Malaya, etc. Includes a free database of more than a million and a half records of those who went to India from 1650s to partition in 1947 - includes those who lived, worked, were born, married and those who died in India. The database is growing all the time as volunteers transcribe more and more documents.
