The Johnson County Historical Society was established in 1977 to preserve and promote the history and heritage of this county. In the following years, we have created a museum of artifacts, several volumes of history and reference, and hold monthly meetings to learn more about local history. Readers may invite input on finding family names and location of their dwellings.
