Cottage Grove Genealogical Society
The society serves the South Lane and North Douglas counties. Located at, 700 E. Gibbs Ave., Cottage Grove, Lane County, Oregon. We preserve and collect obituaries from our area and have over 120 years, which is 10s of 1000s in our collection. We also have, about 5000 volumes of genealogy books, maps and City Directories.

The Oregon Genealogical Society maintains a genealogical and historical research library in Eugene, Oregon for use by members and the general public alike. The OGS library has a large selection of Oregon research materials as well as over 8,000 books and 2,000 periodicals from most localities nationwide. Throughout the year OGS offers genealogical classes in a variety of subjects for all levels of experience, from the beginner to the more experienced researcher. And twice a year, in the spring and fall, the society organizes and hosts an all-day seminar featuring regionally and nationally renowned genealogical lecturers. For those that are unable to visit our library or attend our classes or seminars we have provided information on this website that we hope you find helpful.
