Digital State Archives - New Jersey

NJ gets a huge thumbs-up for one of the best of the online state archives. There are some terrific family history tools, dating back to Colonial days, and even a very unusual (and very useful) database of legal name changes recorded in the state. The State Archives is New Jersey's official research center for public records of enduring historical value.
