The National Society Sons of Colonial New England is open to any gentleman of 18 years of age or more, who can prove lineal descent from a person born prior to July 4, 1776, in any of the present six New England states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

Western Massachusetts Genealogical Society
Founded in 1972, the Western Massachusetts Genealogical Society (WMGS) has been assisting researchers at all levels from beginners to those with years of experience. Serving the Western Massachusetts counties of Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin and well as the Connecticut counties of Litchfield, Hartford and Tolland. Local as well as nationally known speakers are brought to their monthly meetings at the Agawam Senior Center in Agawam, Massachusetts either live or in a virtual format, greatly expanding the pool of talented genealogists. WMGS is proud to be a sponsoring society of the New England Regional Genealogical Conference (NERGC) held in cities all over New England on a biennial basis.
