Haverhill Public Library - Special Collections - Senter Digital Archive
Haverhill Public Library's Special Collections has more than 50,000 historical photographs and negatives in a wide range of formats, and this collection will form the Senter Digital Archive. It currently contains more than 4,800 digitized images documenting the history of Haverhill, as well as surrounding Essex county towns and cities. The collection is being added to daily. This marvelous collection contains digital images of film and glass negatives, slides, lantern slides, postcards and photographs. Images range in date from the 1850s to the late 20th century; they include studio portraits, press photographs, and work by local photographers. Subjects include Haverhill architecture, businesses, people, schools, churches, manufacturing, engineering, copies of historical documents, maps, monuments, surrounding communities, the library itself, and more. Located in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
