Lists of people entitled to vote, or of people who voted, at elections. A freeholder was a man who owned his land outright (in fee) or who held it by lease which could be for one or more lives (for example, his own life or for the lives of other people named in the lease). Search includes surname & forename as well as address and a scanned image of the printed list where the name appears.

Original volumes held by the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) covering the years 1819 to 1900.

Contains just under half a million original signatures and addresses of the men who, on 28 September 1912, signed the Ulster Covenant, and of the women who signed the parallel Declaration. In total, the Covenant was signed by 237,368 men, and the Declaration by 234,046 women. Search provides surname & forename as well as address and a scanned image of their signature.

Representative Church Body Library
The Library is the Church of Ireland's principal repository for its archives & manuscripts. Records from parishes, dioceses & cathedrals in the Republic of Ireland & the non-current records of the General Synod & the Representative Church Body have been transferred to the Library, although some records remain in local custody.

Descriptions of more than 10 million records held by The National Archives of England, Wales and the United Kingdom. The visitor may either search or browse through the descriptions. Images of the documents are not available. Visitors can request copies online and can also place advance orders for the day of their visit.

UK Parliament - Parliamentary Archives
The archive service for both Houses of Parliament and facilitates public access to several million records which are preserved in the Victoria Tower repository. The records include original Acts of Parliament from 1497, Journals from 1510, papers laid before Parliament from 1531, Peerage papers from 1597, Judicial papers from 1621, and plans of canals, roads, railways and other public works deposited in connection with private bills from 1794. Amongst the comparatively few records of genealogical interest are the Protestation returns of 1642 and certain Papist returns.
