LOOKING FOR LeBARONS by Karen Basli (Facebook)
Follow Karen Basli's journey while researching ten generations of the LeBaron family. Her book, LOOKING FOR LEBARONS: The Migration from Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts to the wilderness of Lower Canada and then west to Sonoma County, California was published in March 2014. It contains biographical sketches of many descendants of Dr. Francis LeBaron who was the family progenitor arriving in Plymouth from France in 1694, and marrying Mary Wilder in 1695. Other surnames included in the story are BUSH, HITCHCOCK, DELANO, HOVEY, JOHNSON, LEAVITT, EAMES, SHURTLEFF, PROUTY, FORSYTH and others. The book has been described by some as a road map for beginning genealogists.
