Crego Family History and Genealogy
This site is devoted to the descendants of Stephen Crego (d. 1690), a mariner based in New York City, and his son Josias Crego (d. 1747?). The family settled in New York City in the 1680s and later migrated to Dutchess and Columbia counties in NY. The Vermont branch of the family settled (1766) in Shoreham, VT and later in Oneida County, NY.
