  Easy-to-use genealogy software for Windows and Mac. This software includes extensive reports, multimedia, publishing, and website creation features. Also provides multiple database support, to do lists, powerful merge features, comprehensive syncing with New FamilySearch and more. Ancestral Quest can generate a web site for ancestors of a person, descendants of a person, or selected individuals in your file. Notes, sources and scrapbook objects can be added to the web presentation. Licensed versions have been provided under different names such as PAF, Ancestry Family Tree and Family Tree Heritage. Available in English, German, Spanish, French and other languages. Ancestral Quest Basics is the free version.

• Ancestral Quest - PAF 5 Compare

  AQ can be used as an add-on for PAF. PAF was derived from AQ, so AQ works with the same file format as and it does a bit more. Many users of PAF continue to use PAF, but use AQ to access supplemental features such as: syncs a PAF database with new.FamilySearch.org, fan charts, descendant drop-line charts, documentation (notes and sources) for pedigree charts, publish a family book, generate research log, search against the new FamilySearch indexed records, and much more.
