Society of The Cincinnati

Washington, DC. The nation's oldest patriotic organization, founded in 1783 by the officers of the Continental Army. Membership is for descendants of eligible commissioned officers of the Continental Army or Navy and commissioned officers of the French Army or Navy who served in the Revolutionary War.
