Researching the Marcellus PALMER and George Washington BERRY families. Locations include Butler County, Kansas and Shawnee County, Kansas. Both were large families that came as settlers to Kansas when it was a territory. They had much to do with the building up of the areas in which they lived being active in government, church, and many organizations. Many of the men were veterans of the Civil War, World War I & World War II.
