Israel Genealogy Research Association (IGRA)
The Israel Genealogy Research Association (IGRA) is the revival of a genealogy society that has been in existence since 1999. This site currently hosts more than 700,000 records for Israel accessible with a bi-lingual search engine. The records relate to time periods of the Ottoman Empire, British Mandate and State of Israel. There are also articles and recorded webinars on a variety of genealogy topics as well as resources for researching on Israel and additional geographic areas. The site requires free registration. Membership allows researchers access to scanned images (when available) and the complete resource library.
