The American Baptist - Samuel Colgate Historical Library

Rochester, New York. Purpose is to document the history and thought of the Baptist movement in all of its forms. The Library is believed to hold the largest collection of Baptist related research materials in the world. It holds approximately 80,000 volumes, including over 500 volumes of original church records. More than 400 manuscript collections of Baptist ministers, missionaries, and scholars are kept here.

WMU Library and Archives

The Hunt Library is the corporate library at national WMU headquarters and is named for former executive secretary Alma Hunt. Our collection of over 15,000 volumes specializes in the history of Woman's Missionary Union, Southern Baptist history, missions, and women's religious history. The library houses WMU published materials, books related to Christian life, women's issues, social issues, missionary biographies, mission action, and missions theology. The Archives is the official repository for our corporate records and preserves the history of our organization. Located in Birmingham, Alabama.
