Missouri Records & Archives - Agricultural Schedules
Agricultural Schedules were taken from 1850 through 1930. The 1850-1880 Agricultural Schedules are available by county. Not all counties have a schedule for each of the available years. The original records are available at the Missouri Historical Society Library and Research Center.

Content includes illustrations and photographs of animals, crops, farmers, farm houses and outbuildings, harvesting, insects, planting, and tools; reports from the board of agriculture committees, board secretary, state entomologist, state veterinarian, state dairy commissioner, state apiarist, state horticulture society; gubernatorial proclamations; financial statements and treasury reports; biographical materials, obituaries, and photographs of board members and officers; minutes, proceedings and addresses from the annual meeting of the board; minutes, proceedings, addresses and essays from Missouri Farmers' Week; agriculture association meeting minutes, proceedings, addresses; reports on crop conditions and yields, weather conditions, and agriculture statistics. The collection also includes histories of the St. Louis Agricultural and Mechanical Association and Laclede Race Course, a recap of the 1866 St. Louis Fair and Horse Show as well as assessments of the Missouri agricultural exhibits displayed at the 1893 Chicago Worlds' Columbian Exposition, the 1898 Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition at Omaha, and the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis.

Founded in 2019, the National Society Descendants of American Farmers is a non-profit, non-political organization for descendants of American farmers who were living within the present boundaries of the contiguous continental states of the United States of America between July 4, 1776 - July 4, 1914.
