Bird Family Ancestry in Suffolk, England. Although this website is entitled "Bird Family Tree" there are a lot more surnames that feature here. On the paternal side are the Gooderham family who, much like the Bird family are largely based in Suffolk, the Arbon family who have also been resident in Suffolk, but originate from Germany, the Durrant family who can be traced back to Suffolk and the Hawkins family that go back to Somerset. On the maternal side is the Murdoch family, that includes Dr William Murdoch, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and appointed, amongst other things, surgeon of the Thames Tunnel Works. Also featuring are ties to the already well documented Leftwich family, who have roots in Cheshire, and also to the Beatson family, again a fairly well documented family.
