The Hardin Cemetery Disaster - Hardin, Missouri in Ray County, Missouri

Record flooding in the Missouri River Valley during 1993 resulted in the Hardin Cemetery at Hardin, Missouri in Ray County being nearly washed away with almost 800 burials being washed out of the cemetery. This is considered to be the largest cemetery disaster in United States history. This article includes photos of the cemetery and the memorials that have been erected.
