Bostonian Society

Today the Bostonian Society maintains this national historic treasure for the public, raising all funds for its ongoing preservation and restoration. The Society's staff interprets the Revolutionary-era history of Boston for future generations every day in the museum. In addition, the Bostonian Society maintains a research library and a collection of over 7,500 books, 350 maps, and over 30,000 photographs. The Society also makes accessible an extensive collection of paintings, sculpture, textiles, and archival materials for researchers and students.

Genealogical Roundtable

The Genealogical Roundtable serves the people of Acton, Ashland, Auburndale, Bolton, Boston, Boxborough, Chelmsford, Concord, Framingham, Harvard, Hudson, Lexington, Littleton, Marlborough, Maynard, Natick, Saugus, Shrewsbury, Sudbury, Waltham, Wayland, Westford, and surrounding areas in Massachusetts. The Genealogical Roundtable was founded in 1969 in Concord, Massachusetts, by local genealogists and historians, to stimulate general interest in genealogy and family history. Activities of the society provide a source for information and the development of skills in genealogical research.

Howard Benevolent Society

Inspired by the humanitarian work of John Howard in England, the Howard Benevolet Society was created in 1812 to provide direct services to respond to basic needs such as food, heat and housing.
