BillionGraves provides an app for smartphones so that users can take photos of gravestones at any cemetery worldwide and upload the photos to the BillionGraves web site. Users can then transcribe the gravestone information from the photos online. Use of the site is free. You can either earn or purchase extra features such as the "Record Watch" that will alert you when a specific search term of yours comes online. Earn some of these features through participation in the BillionGraves project by uploading and transcribing photos.

FamilySearch - Grave locations of Revolutionary soldiers and sailors of Maine and Massachusetts FREE
Collection of index card listing the burial place of Revolutionary veterans who are buried in Maine or Massachusetts. Birth, death, and burial information on each individual as well as which unit they served is included on each card. Supplemental information is found on some cards, like spouse and date and place of marriage. Several of these individuals were buried in other states and their burial places reported by DAR members in these states.

Over 13,500 images documenting the sculpture on more than 9,000 gravestones, most of which were made prior to 1800. The data accompanying the photographs include the name and death date of the deceased, the location of the stone, and information concerning the stone material, the iconography, the inscription, and (when known) the carver. The focus of the collection are Massachusetts & Connecticut grave markers.
