San Joaquin Genealogical Society

SJGS serves those interested in genealogical research in the central California area of the United States encompassing San Joaquin County, including the current cities of Escalon, Lathrop, Lodi, Manteca, Ripon, Stockton and Tracy, as well as areas of Acampo, Clements, Farmington, Linden, Lockeford and historic settlements no longer on the map. We also seek to provide genealogical training and resources for our members in the local area who are researching their roots in other parts of California, the U.S. and worldwide.
