Stockholms Stadsarkivet - Rotemansarkivet / The Roteman Archive

The Roteman Archive is a register of the population in the city of Stockholm for the years 1878-1926. In the register you will find information about almost all people who have ever lived in Stockholm. Here on the website you can search for about 4.2 million entries with information about people who lived on Södermalm, Gamla Stan, Kungsholmen and parts of Norrmalm and Östermalm. The entire Roteman Archive with 6.3 million entries is available in the computers in the City Archives' reading room.
