The Catholic Archdiocese of Poznan Poland has significant information for genealogists. Although most of it is in Polish, it is easy to make out some parts of it. Under Archiwum Archidiecezjalno find the address, phone and email for the Archdiocesan Archives which lists all the Catholic churches for which it has baptism, marriage and death records with years included. At bottom of the Archives Homepage find a British map for an English version. Under Dekanatow i parafii A.P. find a map of the Archdiocese divided into deaconates with the names of all the present Catholic churches listed by the towns where they are located.

Established in 1986 with a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the Connecticut Polish American Archives (CPAA)Connecticut Polish American Archive (CPAA) collects, preserves and makes accessible documents related to the history of the Polish American community, with a special emphasis on the history of the Polish Americans in Connecticut and New England. CPAA is located in the Elihu Burritt Library at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn. and is an integral part of CCSU's Polish Studies Program.

Herder-Institut Marberg: About the Institute
According to its statutes, the Herder-Institute supports with its collections and as a forum for academic discussion the research on the countries and peoples of East Central Europe in their European context, with special regard to the history of the historical German territories and areas of settlement in East Central Europe. In order to fulfill these tasks, the institute conducts its own research.
