East Tennessee Historical Society - Journal of East Tennessee History
Established in 1929 as the East Tennessee Historical Society Publications, the name was changed in 1990 to the present Journal of East Tennessee History. The Journal seeks to promote an interest in and appreciation of the history of East Tennessee, the state of Tennessee, the Appalachian South, and the South in general. The publication features essays, edited documents, news and updates, and scholarly book reviews. Articles appearing in The Journal of East Tennessee History are indexed in America History and Life.

East Tennessee Historical Society - Tennessee Ancestors
Established in 1985, Tennessee Ancestors is a genealogical magazine with a focus on East Tennessee research. Articles feature a variety of family histories, records transcriptions, Bible records, and other material helpful research materials. Regular columns include book reviews, a listing of new books added to the McClung Collection, and queries. Three records groups are currently being serialized: Grand Army of the Republic Rosters, Tennessee Legislative Petitions, and War of 1812 Musters and Payrolls.

Eneclann Ltd ENEC012 - The Irish Genealogist, Vols. 1-8
1937-93. The Official Organ of the Irish Genealogical Research Society was first published in April 1937. This CD-Rom publication covers from that very first issue up to Volume 8 in 1993. The Irish Genealogist, through many of its articles, allowed researchers gain access to material that in many cases was held in private collections, was otherwise inaccessible or lost, particularly following the fire in the Public Records Office in 1922.

The Mississippi Valley Historical Review began publishing in 1914. The first issue to have its copyright renewed was the September 1939 issue. In 1964, the journal was renamed the Journal of American History, the name it still carries today.
