GLBT Historical Society & Bay Area Reporter - Online Searchable Obituary Database
The GLBT Historical Society of Northern California in cooperation with the Bay Area Reporter has created this searchable database of all obituaries that have appeared in the Bay Area Reporter since it began publishing them in 1972.

An open access digital collection of alternative press newspapers, magazines and journals, drawn from the special collections of participating libraries. These periodicals were produced by feminists, dissident GIs, campus radicals, Native Americans, anti-war activists, Black Power advocates, Hispanics, LGBT activists, the extreme right-wing press and alternative literary magazines during the latter half of the 20th century.

The Trans Doe Task Force was created to research cold cases in which the subject may have been transgender or gender-variant. TDTF also advises and educates the public, media, and law enforcement regarding the needs of and sensitive differences between Trans Doe cases and other Doe cases. The TDTF also reaches out to assist law enforcement departments, medical examiners, and forensic anthropologists with getting their cases submitted for forensic genealogy.

LAMMP - LGBT + Accountability for Missing and Murdered Persons
Working with the admins from Trans Cold Cases and LGBTQ Missing and Murdered, the Trans Doe Task Force is facilitating a database to serve the community and attempt to match any unidentified people with missing people whose cases require LGBT+ informed care and consideration.
