The Official Land Records Site for the United States. This site has a searchable database of more than five million (1820-present) Federal land conveyance records, including scanned images of those records. There are also images related to survey plats and field notes, dating back to 1810. The site does not currently contain every Federal title record issued for the Public Land States.

The Brazoria County Historical Museum's primary purpose is to act as the Historical Resource Center for Old 300 Database. Enslaved Ned Thompson and his wife near East Columbia, TX.The Museum maintains a core listing of all settlers who received land grants in Austin's Colony by the eve of the war for independence from Mexico. Over time, this database has expanded to include ancestors and descendants of those settlers. If you think you might be related to one or more members of Austin's Colony, this is a great place to look. Due to privacy concerns, this database is no longer online but accessible by e-mail request.
