BallinStadt The Emigration Museum Hamburg

Emigration museum being built in Hamburg, Germany recreated on the site of the original 'Emigrants Hall' on Veddel Island. Historic halls and barracks were purpose-built for the large number of emigrants leaving from Hamburg. Site includes historical information on emigration from Hamburg and conditions of the emigrants. The museum includes a family history research center.
