Community members gathered at E.C. Crossett Youth Center on June 20 to dedicate the pavilion there in honor of a coach they said expected a lot of the athletes who worked with him but who gave a lot in return.
Greater Crossett Area Food Pantry expanded into the Delta area last week, according to Director Martha Murphy, who had hoped to “be able to assist between 40 to 50 households that day.”
Hamburg School District hosts its first track meet of the year last Thursday afternoon. Boys and girls from across the region arrived to compete throughout the evening. The team’s next meet will be April 3 in Monticello.
