I'm continually fascinated by the past. I could spend hours reading old books, look at old maps and photos. My favorite part in learning about history is to see how my ancestors lives were impacted by events from long ago. Tracing back my family and finding out where they come from is one of my greatest passions. Hours spent researching in the library and wild goose chases in the middle of nowhere to find cemeteries are just of few of my favorite things to do in my spare time.
The blog entries that will slowly, but surely follow will be an easy way to keep track of those wonderful genealogical "ah ha" moments. In creating this blog I hope to not only to record this moments, but also connect with those who share a common intrest of digging up roots.
