The BCGS would like to acknowledge the ceded and unceded Indigenous ancestral territories of BC and Canada. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn the history, culture and traditions of the First Nations Peoples, alongside our personal investigations of familial settler history and encourage everyone to reflect on the Indigenous history of the lands where they reside.

This is a 5 week course presented by Celia Lewis & Eunice Robinson.

The BC Genealogical Society maintains a register of our current members’ surname research interests - members can add as many surnames as they wish, along with specific locations and dates they are researching. The surnames are listed alphabetically, via PDF links, on our Index of Surnames page.
The surname interests will be updated shortly for 2025, so if you haven’t added your surnames yet , or updated your entries lately, why not do it now? You never know who might be looking for the same people as you are.
