Ever wondered where the Bracegirdle family came from? This may provide the answer to your question. We are looking for Bracegirdle men to take a 111YDNA test in the first stages of the Bracegirdle Project DNA. The aim is to trace males of known family trees and see if the families are linked - note only one male in a direct line is needed in these early stages. This test goes back many generations, at this stage 25, with the Y DNA virtually unchanged from fathers to sons, thus its usefullness. Other tests of Bracegirdle family members may also prove enlightening
