Genealogical Digital Storytelling Workshop
This three-day workshop, September 8-10, 2011 in Denver, Colorado, will use digital storytelling to help you craft a personal story about your place within your family’s history. Digital storytelling is a multimodal method of creating short, first person video narratives to record
stories of life experience and identity. Family knowledge, values, and beliefs are part of all of us. Dig into your family archives for photos, documents, diaries,
journals, and oral histories to help tell your story, and you will leave the workshop with a compelling addition to your genealogical work. Price of the 3-day workshop is $495/person and registration is limited to 10 slots
per workshop. Elder participants are welcome to bring a family member at no
additional cost to assist with technological aspects of the workshop.
