The Canadian Methodist Historical Society is a national organization established in 1899 and reorganized 1975 fundamentally for the advancement of historical information relative to the Methodist Church in Canada.
The Canadian Society of Mayflower Descendants was established in 1980 when it became the first Mayflower society to be formed outside of the United States. The General Society of Mayflower Descendants was formed in 1897 and in addition to Canada, has state societies in every American state and the District of Columbia.
